Asset Proxy Architecture
All marketing materials live in a Cloudflare R2 bucket under the menu-images/affiliate/ prefix. The worker's /assets/:path* route (source: cloudflare/src/handlers/asset-proxy.ts) serves these objects publicly. There is no authorization check because the content is intentionally public.
Content-Type is whitelisted to png, jpg, pdf, md, txt. R2 native cache TTL stays at 30 days, pushing edge cache hit rate to about 94%. Monthly egress cost: $0, thanks to R2's free egress policy.
Material Catalog
The "Marketing Kit" tab in the dashboard lists:
- Banner sets — 1080×1080 (IG), 1920×1080 (YouTube), 1200×630 (OG/Twitter), 18 locale variants
- Reels/TikTok templates — After Effects + CapCut bundles in 9:16 vertical
- PDF marketing kit — earnings calculator, restaurant outreach script, FAQ flyer
Creator Workflow
Selin's flow: during shooting she downloads assets.thmenu.com/affiliate/reels/v3-en.zip on her phone, imports it into CapCut. The brand-safe typography and logo are already layered; she just overlays her color on top.
Key rule: the assets URL is immutable, but the creator is free to save derivative versions. There is no requirement to embed an affiliate ID inside the asset — attribution flows through UTM parameters or coupon codes.
FAQ
Can I use assets commercially? Yes, every affiliate program participant has a royalty-free license. The only restriction: you may not promote competing side products with these materials.
Is there a download limit? No, R2 egress is free. Default TTL is 30 days; long-lived reference links remain stable.
Can I upload my own designs? Public uploads are not enabled yet — Phase 4 plans an affiliate-submitted asset pipeline. For now, self-host on your channel.
