Accessibility Statement

Last updated26 August 2026

1. What this statement covers

Synaltix LLC, operating under the Thmenu brand, is committed to making its services usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

This statement covers thmenu.com (the marketing site), menu.thmenu.com and restaurant custom domains (the guest-facing QR menu), and admin.thmenu.com (the restaurant operator panel).

It is made under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which has applied since 28 June 2025, using EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA as the technical reference.

2. Conformance status

Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA — self-assessed.

"Partially conformant" means some parts of the service do not fully conform to the standard. "Self-assessed" means the evaluation was carried out by us, using automated tooling and manual checks, and has not been reviewed by an independent accessibility auditor. We say so plainly rather than claiming a level of assurance we have not paid for.

3. What we have done

• Semantic HTML with landmark structure, and a "skip to content" link in the operator panel.
• Every interactive control reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• Text alternatives on informative images; decorative images marked as such.
• Colour contrast checked against the 4.5:1 AA threshold for body text. One real failure found and fixed this way: the affiliate agreement page was rendering body text at 1.93:1, which is unreadable for most people, not merely non-conformant.
• The guest menu works without JavaScript for reading the menu itself, and is usable at 200% zoom and in portrait on small screens.
• Language of each page declared with a lang attribute so screen readers pronounce content correctly — the site is published in 28 languages, including right-to-left Arabic.

4. Known gaps

We would rather list these than let you discover them:

No independent audit. Everything below is what we found ourselves; there will be issues we have not found.
No assistive-technology test matrix. We have not systematically tested against JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver across browsers.
Charts and heatmaps in the operator analytics convey information visually; the underlying numbers are available in the adjacent tables, but the graphics themselves are not fully described.
Restaurant-supplied content — menu photos, descriptions and uploaded images — is written by each restaurant. We prompt for alternative text but cannot guarantee it is present or meaningful.
PDF exports (QR sheets, Z reports, tax reports) are not tagged PDFs.

5. Feedback

If you hit a barrier, tell us and we will fix it or find you another way through.

Email contact@synaltix.io with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge within 5 working days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will say so and give you an alternative route to the same information or function in the meantime.

This channel is monitored by the same one-person team that builds the product, so you are not writing to a queue.

6. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the accessibility enforcement body in your own country. Under Directive (EU) 2019/882 each EU/EEA member state designates its own authority; your national consumer protection or accessibility ombudsman can direct you to it.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have under national or EU law.

7. Status of this statement

Prepared on 26 August 2026, based on a self-assessment carried out on the same date.

It will be revised when an independent audit is completed, and whenever a gap listed in §4 is closed or a new one is found.
