Online ordering for pickup and delivery
Online ordering lets guests order from your own menu — by its own link — for pickup, or for delivery by your own staff, without a marketplace in between. With Thmenu you switch pickup and delivery on in Settings, set a flat delivery fee and a minimum order, and the orders arrive in your orders dashboard and on your receipt printer.
How an order comes in
Open the menu
The guest opens your menu link — no table code needed.
Pickup or delivery
They choose pickup or delivery; for delivery they enter their name, phone number and address.
Now or later
As soon as possible, or — if you allow scheduled orders — a later time slot.
Pay and follow
Delivery orders are paid online when the order is placed; pickup follows your payment setting. The guest then follows the order's status on the menu.
What you control
- 01
Channels
Pickup and delivery each have their own switch, next to ordering at the table.
- 02
Delivery fee and minimum order
One flat delivery fee, shown as its own line on the bill, and a minimum order the server enforces.
- 03
Scheduled orders
Let guests order ahead, with a minimum lead time and a limit on how many days ahead they can book.
- 04
Everything on the ticket
The orders dashboard shows the channel, the guest's name, a tap-to-call phone number and the address; ESC/POS receipt printers print the channel — takeaway or delivery — in capitals, with the address.
Good to know
- Your own couriers
- Thmenu does not dispatch couriers or connect to courier services; delivery is done by your own staff.
- No delivery zones
- The address is entered as text and not checked against a map or a radius — you decide whether you can deliver to it.
- Delivery needs online payment
- Delivery can be switched on once in-app card payment is on, so delivery orders are paid before they are prepared. Online payment depends on your country and payment provider.
- No SMS or email
- Guests follow the order on the menu page; Thmenu sends no SMS or email confirmation.
